These terms govern the private beta of YouTube Reader provided by guix8 ("we").
1. The service
- YouTube Reader uses AI to create Korean reading notes from a YouTube video's transcript, comments and frames.
- It is a free beta offered only to invited users, and features may change or stop without notice.
- You must be 14 or older to use it.
2. AI-generated output
- Notes are generated by AI and may contain mistakes or omissions. Check the original video for anything important.
- Notes are for information only and are not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
3. Original works and takedown requests
- Videos and comments belong to their creators. Notes link back to the original and are provided as summaries and quotations that don't replace it.
- Rights holders can email contact@guix8.dev to have a share link made private or a note removed. We'll act within 7 days of verifying the request and let you know.
- YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC. guix8 and YouTube Reader are not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
4. Your responsibilities
- Don't use the service to break the law or infringe others' rights, and don't send automated requests that overload it.
- If you create and distribute a share link, you are responsible for that distribution.
5. Limitation of liability
- The beta is provided as-is. Except for intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for damages arising from its use.
